慈悲あまねく慈愛深きアッラーの御名において。
In the Name of Allâh, the Most
Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
1. アブー・ラハブの両手は滅び，かれも滅びてしまえ。
Perish the two hands of Abû Lahab (an uncle of the Prophet), and perish he![]
2. かれの富も儲けた金も，かれのために役立ちはしない。
His wealth and his children (etc.) will not benefit him!
3. やがてかれは，燃え盛る炎の業火の中で焼かれよう。
He will be burnt in a Fire of blazing flames!
4. かれの妻はその薪を運ぶ，
And his wife too, who carries wood (thorns of Sadan which she used to put on the way of the Prophet (Peace be upon him) , or use to slander him)[] .
5. 首に棕櫚の荒縄かけて。
In her neck is a twisted rope of Masad (palm fibre).[]
